Canada’s painting process is quite unique. She back paints everything on to one or more pieces of plexiglass. This back painting process is done by literally painting backwards onto the material. Since plexiglass is see through, she puts a layout paper on the opposite side. This makes it where even Canada does not know what the front of the painting looks like, until the very end.
